Located on the corner of Rivington & Ludlow streets. We were on our way to our dinner spot and saw this 'Rice To Riches' and thought "dessert" as I love rice pudding so after dinner, we came here. They have plenty of different flavors and toppings to choose from depending on your taste buds. I wanted a more simple, original type of rice pudding, so I chose their 'Old Fashioned Romance', which is their simpler, plain choice. I topped it with cinnamon, and it tasted amazing, just what I was craving. They also serve coffee & tea. The store has a really cool, fun decor. Shout out to 'Kenny' who was very helpful with the flavor options, allowing me to taste before I chose. Overall, we had a great experience here and will definitely return.

I've always passed by their other location but never actually walked into try their rice pudding since I've never been the biggest fan of rice pudding whenever I had it in other restaurants establishments. My partner and I decided to try this on a whim and the worker helping us was so friendly and patient with us as we narrowed down which flavor we would share. He let us try samples of different flavors and even gave us some recommendations on what was popular. I tried the French toast flavored rice pudding and it was really good. It tasted exactly like French toast - spot on. We got the smallest size but I think it was a good size to share between the two of us! I'd definitely recommend eating in since the space feels so futuristic and chill. It was very big and clean inside. I did see a number of people taking the rice pudding to go as well. I think I'll be back to try more of their other flavors next time.

OK full disclosure, I happen to love just plain old rice pudding, so stopping in here was not a hard decision :) I was blown away by the choices and amazing flavors. The butterscoth was excellent as well as the cinnamon roll. not overly sweet but not bland either I cajoled my brother to try it since he said he isn't a rice pudding fan. He was hooked :) Service was friendly and fast. Definatley like the vibe of the place. very 60's along with irreverant humor coming up on all the tv screens. Since this is a chain, I look foward to trying other flavors in other locations

Rice to Riches is immaculate and bright, with lots of seating and clear displays. Staff is fairly amiable and helpful, and offer 3 free taste samples. We noticed lots of folks using the bathroom and leaving without buying anything (or even giving a thank-you), despite the staff's insistence (and ignoring signs specifically urging people not to do that), so please at least tip if you're going to dump and dash. The Epic size was perfect to share for 2 people (and it's much larger and not much more expensive than the smallest size). We got the Hazelnut and Coconut Coma flavors; the former was rather sharp and bitter (in a good way), while the latter was smooth and creamy. The rice is chunky and thick in texture, and it's an excellent way to enjoy dessert after a greasy meal (say nearby Gotham Burgers). A few final points: - The takeout containers and spoons were high-quality. I could definitely myself reusing them in the future. - The ambiance and theme is rather vulgar, and I think it's even borderline fat-shaming/ageist. Doesn't bother me too much, but if you're sensitive, this might not be your restaurant.

New location and first time trying rice pudding of this caliber. I was surprised of how tasty rice pudding can be. The staff were very accommodating and allow three taste test only. I opted for butter pecan flavor over the strawberry which was still delicious. Basically you pay for different sizes which is interesting for just pudding. There's solo, double and triple sizes. I was with a friend and solo can feed two people. I'm not a rice pudding fanatic but if you are this is a treat. Also you can keep the container bowls that comes with a matching scoop. Might as well since starting price is $10+ . There's dairy and vegan options available. I liked the butter pecan, reminded me of mayfield butter pecan ice cream. If you have a nut allergy, skip this. There's drink options available from coffee to cold bottle drinks. Water closet is located past drink cooler. The decor reminds me of xenon movie sets from Disney. Very futuristic and mod. The dining tables are attached to the sealing next to wall booths. If you like rice pudding, there's variety options.

New location, same taste! The vibe is the same as the one in SoHo, maybe a little smaller. Chocolate chip - Sweet in a good way! My only critique is that I wished there were more chocolate chips mixed into the pudding but otherwise it was delicious! The worker was helpful and let us try the pudding before purchasing. Great new location!

Be warned: the portion sizes are HUGE! You can easily split even the smallest size. Flavors were pretty good though I thought the taste of many were bland because of the rice. Definitely a rice pudding lovers heaven. The decor/aesthetics and late hours are what drew me to this place. So cool!! Also, I saw nothing to confirm that the rumors are true, but who knows.

Who would have thought that there could be a variety of flavors for rice pudding?! I'm a sucker for rice pudding so I was immediately drawn in. The staff were very friendly and offered multiple samples and explained sizing. After trying a bunch of funky (but delicious) flavors, I opted for vanilla as seemed like the sweet but more simple option to go with. The booths were a fun spot to sit and enjoy our pudding. We were drawn to the random marketing within the shop. There were a lot of tv screens with odd jokes; the type like eating in private is shown off on your body in person. little cringe as you bite into a sweet dessert. The bowls and spoons were pretty random. It gave UFO/spaceship vibes but with no reference to space. The bowls are a little pricey. A solo bowl is truly meant to share. I feel like they should offer a mini size for those who come in by themselves and want a quick treat. We watched a bunch of people try samples and walk out. Nonetheless, the pudding was delicious and I still recommend checking it out.
